Every time my wife and I get a phone call to book a wedding, we always ask if the bride or groom did any research on prices and quality. Most of the time they checked out a few other wedding videographers. But I still tend to mention other popular wedding videographers and their prices, mainly to let people know they are getting a bang for their buck by going with us.
But I figured it might actually be useful to list some of the prices and package offerings of other videographers on our blog too. Although every wedding video company offers slightly different packages, they are all basically the same in their content.
We are always keeping an eye on our competitors prices, but I was still shocked at how expensive they all were! For a moment I thought, "should I raise our prices?" But then I figured, I'd rather not have to "sell" or push our packages on anyone. I assume most people know what they want, and what they are comfortable paying, and I definitely wouldn't want to unnecessarily burden a newly made couple.
